Lara A. Anderson is a shareholder in the firm.  Lara’s practice is concentrated in all aspects of the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations.  Lara started her career representing federal, state and local governmental entities and not-for-profit organizations, including community associations, in complex civil rights and constitutional law matters.  Lara eventually transitioned her practice to focus solely upon the representation of community associations.  Lara received a B.S. in Accounting with honors from Northern Illinois University in 1989, passed the CPA exam and then received her J.D. from Northern Illinois University’s College of Law in 1992.  Lara has extensive litigation experience representing associations and has had the privilege to argue before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Supreme Court.  Due to her reputation in the industry, Lara was asked to join a homeowners association’s litigation team when it appealed a case to the Indiana Supreme Court.  In that case, Villas West II v. McGlothin, 885 N.E.2d 1274 (2008), Lara was instrumental in convincing the Indiana Supreme Court to reverse the lower court and hold that the association’s rental restriction did not violate the Fair Housing Act.  Lara is currently a board member and the Secretary of the Illinois Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), a member of the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA), as well as a member of several bar associations and other professional organizations.  Lara has served as an instructor for accredited continuing legal education courses relating to community association law and has authored numerous articles discussing community association legal issues.  Lara is frequently asked to speak before various groups and has been a presenter at numerous events, including CAI’s National Law Seminar, the CAI-Illinois Annual Conference and Trade Show and ACTHA’s Trade Shows and Expos.


Paul Fosco  is a founding member and shareholder in the firm.  Paul’s practice is concentrated in the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations and handling real estate, estate planning, corporate and business matters.  Paul has more than 25 years of experience in representing various individual, commercial and institutional clients.  Paul oversees quality control aspects of the firm’s community association assessment collection practice, continually developing and improving the firm’s processes and procedures.  Paul received his B.A in Business Administration from DePaul University in 1981 and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1985.  Paul has authored numerous articles found in various local and national publications relating to real estate, mortgage lending laws in Illinois and federal requirements under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).  Paul is a founding and current member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association (IRELA).


Stuart A. Fullett  is the managing shareholder of the firm.  Stuart’s practice is primarily concentrated in the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations.  A former municipal prosecutor who also handled numerous types of civil and criminal cases before joining the firm, Stuart heads the firm’s litigation practice, which includes community association construction cases, developer disputes, fair housing claims and covenant and rule enforcement issues.  Stuart also directly oversees all community association assessment collection matters handled by the firm and counsels community associations regarding governance issues and transactional matters.  Stuart’s previous experience working in the building trades affords him valuable insight in approaching construction issues encountered by the firm’s clients.  Stuart received his B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in 1985 and received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1988.  Stuart is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association (including its Debtor/Creditor Committee), the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA).  Stuart frequently authors and is quoted in articles relating to community association law and lectures in this area of the law at community association seminars and trade shows and before professional property management firms and other community association industry professionals.  Stuart has served as an instructor for accredited continuing education courses for community association managers.


Scott A. Rosenlund is a shareholder in the firm.  Scott’s practice is concentrated in all aspects of the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations, including both residential and commercial associations.  Scott has extensive experience over the entire span of his legal career advising community associations regarding a wide range of complex and day-to-day governance issues.  Scott oversees the firm’s community association corporate and transactional practice.  Scott received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994 and received his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1997.  Scott is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (including its Real Property Law Committee and Condominium Subcommittee), the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA).  Scott is a frequent speaker at community association industry seminars and trade shows and regularly gives presentations for professional property management firms and other industry professionals regarding community association law.  Scott has served as an instructor for accredited continuing legal education courses relating to community association law and accredited continuing education courses for community association managers.  Scott has authored numerous articles discussing community association legal issues and has on several occasions been quoted in publications such as the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times on matters relating to community association law.

Katerina Tsoukalas-Heitkemper is a partner in the firm. Kathy’s practice is concentrated in the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations. Kathy assumes a central role in the firm’s community association assessment collection practice, handling or supervising much of the firm’s assessment collection work, as well as acting as a primary contact between the firm and its community association clients in assessment collection matters. Kathy received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001 and received her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2004. Kathy is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA).


Shannon B. Rigby is a senior associate with the firm.  Shannon’s practice focuses primarily upon the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations in various types of civil litigation.  Shannon received her B.S. from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1992.  After serving as a Captain in the United States Army, Shannon received her J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2000.  Thereafter, Shannon practiced in the areas of appellate law, real estate law, general civil litigation and community association law.  Shannon is a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA).
